Register as a Neighborhood or SPIN Class Cyclist
Can’t do the cross state trip but still want to help? You can log miles through a spin class at your local gym or miles rode through your neighborhood. From the time you register to May 31st, log as close to 300 miles as you can.
Registration costs $25 and includes a Cycle of Service t-shirt and other ARM cycling items. The website to track your miles is an additional $9.
These are local Auburn/Opelika Gyms participating through a spin class competition:
Opelika Sportsplex, Moore’s Mill Fitness Club, and Health Plus. Spinners are working to log as many miles as they can trying to get in 300 miles. Using the website MyVirtualMission.com and the MyVirtualMission app, cyclists can follow our route across Alabama! To use the website and participate as a group, you will sign up for the premium service which is just under $9 for six months.
To register: You can register online using the selection above and pay online or send a check.
Tracking Miles and Sponsors:
Click here to download the neighborhood ride/spin class tracking sheet. You can use this sheet to track your miles and your donations!
Your sponsors can use the Donate Now button shown on this page at the top of the right sidebar. Just point them to cycleofservice.arm-al.org. Or, sponsors can send a check to ARM (see contact information below) that indicates Cycle of Service and your name in the memo line.
We suggest offering your sponsors an option of donating a fixed amount or, even better, a per mile rate. We ask for all donations to be submitted by May 7th.
Below are some important items that will help you as you prepare to ride with us. They will be available by January 20th. The Rider’s Information Manual is comprehensive but we also broke down some sections to make it easier. Let us know if you have any questions.
